How It Works

Step 1: Sign Up

Begin your journey by creating a free account with Bridge Unity Network.

  1. Visit Our Sign-Up Page:

    • Click on the "Sign Up" button located at the top-right corner of our website.

  2. Fill Out the Registration Form:

    • Personal Information:

      • Enter your first name and last name.

    • Contact Details:

      • Provide a valid email address and create a secure password.

    • Phone Number:

      • Input your mobile number to receive text notifications.

    • Agree to Terms:

      • Read and accept our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy by checking the boxes.

Verification:

  • You may receive a confirmation email to verify your account.

  • Click the link provided in the email to activate your account.

Texting at Work

Step 2: Add Funds

To start messaging, you'll need to add funds to your account.

1. Access the "Add Funds" Section:

  • After logging in, navigate to your Dashboard.

  • Click on the "Add Funds" or "Billing" tab.

2. Choose a Payment Method:

  • We offer various secure payment options:

    • Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.

    • Digital Wallets: Cash App, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal.

    • Buy Now, Pay Later: Klarna, Affirm, Afterpay.

3. Select an Amount:

  • Choose from preset amounts (e.g., $10, $25, $50) or enter a custom amount.

4. Confirm Payment:

  • Review your payment details.

  • Click "Submit" to process the transaction.

  • You will receive a confirmation receipt via email.

Step 3: Connect with Your Inmate

Set up the connection with your loved one by providing their details.

  1. Navigate to "Inmate Information":

    • In your Dashboard, select "Inmate Information" or "Add Inmate".

  2. Enter Inmate Details:

    • Full Name: Provide the inmate's first and last name as registered at the facility.

    • Inmate ID Number: Input their unique identification number assigned by the correctional institution.

    • Facility Information: Select or enter the name and location of the facility.

  3. Verify Information:

    • Double-check all entries for accuracy to avoid communication delays.

  4. Save Details:

    • Click "Save" or "Submit" to store the inmate's information in your account.

Step 4: Start Messaging

You're all set to begin exchanging messages with your loved one.

Receive Your Dedicated Number:

  • After registration, you'll receive a welcome email containing your dedicated phone number assigned to you.

Start Texting:

  • Save the Number:

    • Add this number to your contacts, perhaps naming it "Messages with [Inmate's Name]".

  • Compose a Message:

    • Open your regular texting app.

    • Send a text to your dedicated number just like any other message.

Message Delivery:

​

  • Conversion Process:

    • We securely receive your text and convert it into an email compatible with the correctional facility's communication system (e.g., Corrlinks).

  • Delivery to Your Loved One:

    • The email is sent through approved channels to your loved one.

Receiving Replies:

​

  • Inmate's Response:

    • Your loved one replies via the facility's email system.

  • Conversion to Text:

    • We convert their email back into a text message.

  • Message to You:

    • You'll receive their reply directly in your texting app from your dedicated number.

  • Seamless Communication:

    • Keep texting your dedicated number to stay connected.
